Vision

With the completion of the floodwall along Spring Street from High Street to Lamb Street, we believe it is now time to implement a visionary development plan for the waterfront area of Bellefonte.

Our plans for the Bellefonte waterfront include:

  • A promenade along Spring Creek from High Street to Lamb Street that will serve as access to commercial and residential space, as well as a gathering space for special events;

  • All of the proposed buildings will feature a traditional look to complement the historic buildings in downtown Bellefonte;

  • A boutique, nationally branded hotel that includes 80 guest rooms, meeting rooms, and a farm-to-table restaurant that will feature locally produced spirits, wines, ciders and beers;

  • A parking structure with approximately 333 spaces for hotel guests, visitors, shoppers, residential owners, and commercial owners and tenants;

  • One-, two- and three-bedroom condominium apartment units;

  • A total of approximately 40,000 square feet of first-floor commercial and/or office space; and

  • An educational component that will feature pictures and information about Bellefonte’s history.

We believe that our vision for the Bellefonte Waterfront Development will be the catalyst to enhance Bellefonte’s vibrant and active community. The newly developed waterfront will be a place where people will want to visit and live while supporting other businesses in downtown Bellefonte and the surrounding area.
